"New London Bridge House" will reach an altitude of 180 m, which is significantly lower than the neighboring "record holder" (305 m). The £ 400 million complex will house 55,800 sq. M. m of offices and shops.

The building got its name from the construction of the 1970s, which is now in its intended place and will be demolished if the developer receives permission from the City Council.

Irwin Sellar, owner of both the Shard London Bridge and New London Bridge House (already dubbed Baby Shard), a construction firm, told the press that his company is going to create an entire block of new development in the area, the core of which is will become two buildings of Renzo Piano. The latter will be connected by a small area planted with trees.

In parallel with the construction of the office building, the nearby transfer hub will be reconstructed. Its overlap will include glazed areas, and the existing bus station for 13 parking lots will be replaced by a larger one - for 21 cars.

The New London Bridge House itself will be covered with a 33,000 sq. M. Sloped solar roof. m, which should provide more than half of the building's need for electricity.
