Architect Puya Hazaeli Parsa, who worked for some time in the workshop of Shigeru Bana, designed this house without any reference to local tradition. Its construction is inspired by Le Corbusier's "Poem of a Right Angle" and is an example of "honest" design and laconic formal language. The main task set for Parsa by the customer, Tahmina Darvish, was to create a villa, whose inhabitants could admire the view of the Caspian Sea, almost completely closed by the dense buildings of the coastal area of the city.

The architect used in his project a tape volume inscribed in a cube. Rising higher and turning at right angles, it is equipped with two open staircases, and begins in the open terrace of the first floor, and ends with a garden, laid out on the roof of the building, from where a view of the sea opens. The appearance of the villa, despite its seeming simplicity, is surprisingly diverse; playing with space and volume is the result of Parsa's fascination with sculpture.
