The reconstruction of the Bolshoi Theater is now in full swing and, in addition to the actual "renovation", also includes the creation of another stage hall underground, from which only ventilation shafts will be visible from the outside - which were discussed at the meeting. For the underground auditorium, an extractor hood with a total area of about 9 sq. m - for this, the author of the project Nikita Shangin (ZAO Kurortproekt) proposed to install three air circulation shafts each along the Maly and Molodezhny theaters - in the form of theater billboards 3.60 meters in height, as well as small, about 60 cm, hood blocks along the Teatralnaya parapets square, on its two sides. Thus, the area near the theater, for which in this case they were most feared, turned out to be practically untouched, however, the experts themselves had to think out the technical device of the hoods and the volumetric characteristics of the "billboards". The fact is that if you don't think of anything, then near the hoods along the parapets, the snow will melt due to the warm air and there will always be ice along the path. Even more worrisome was the size of the ventilation kiosks - along the Maly Theater they at least stand between the trees, and at the Youth Theater they are generally on a clean sidewalk. Vladimir Chernyshenko suggested thinking about the shape: making it slimmer, maybe even increasing their number. Viktor Sheredega added that it is necessary to think over their night lighting and make them stylized - "so that they sit as if they have always been here."

While discussing the ventilation of the Bolshoi Theater, there was a small accident. While showing the project, the authors accidentally demonstrated an unrelated sketch of the evacuation exits of the underground hall, which will be installed on both sides of the portico of the main entrance. This project has already been approved at the federal level - however, the experts decided to try to draw attention to it again, since the design of emergency exits in the form of large glass triangular pavilions blocking the diagonal perspectives on the portico of the Bolshoi Theater greatly embarrassed those present. The main wish of the experts regarding these pavilions was the following: "… in the pavilions of the emergency exits, the pavilions themselves must be removed and only the exits should be left."

In addition, the experts re-examined the project of the hotel and administrative complex at 6a Letnikovskaya Street (CJSC Poisk 1, architect LV Yapryntseva), in the area of the reconstructed Paveletskaya industrial zone, which had previously been rejected due to a large percentage of office premises. Now the architects have presented a project in which the office component has been “reduced to a minimum” - namely, a third of the volume of offices (the other two-thirds were occupied by a hotel and underground parking) has been “cut back” by 25%. That is, the offices for the new project will not be 20, but 15 thousand sq. M. With these conditions, the pre-project was approved.

Another project shown to the experts involves the demolition of a Soviet hostel located in Fili, not far from the Kutuzovskaya Izba and the chapel of Mikhail Archangel, on 1812 Goda Street. Architects (OOO "Arch Idea", architect AV Lutsenko) propose to build a hotel in its place, which will retain the same outline of the plan, but will be higher. The reaction of experts was negative - it was decided to postpone the demolition of the existing building until the expediency of developing the hotel function in this historical place was clarified.
