The "Trinity. EC3" ensemble consists of three fully glazed polyhedral volumes with a height of 12 to 22 floors, which will house offices and shops. The budget of the project - 700 million pounds - involves the creation of an open garden on the roofs of buildings, a covered "square" in the plan resembling the letter T, and a community center-club for residents of the neighboring neighborhood. A new Aldgate bus station will also be built, located closer to the metro station of the same name than the old bus station.
The name of the future complex combines a reference to its compositional solution (trinity - trinity) and to its location: EC3 is the postal code of this area of the City of London, in which active high-rise construction is now concentrated. Nearby is the famous Swiss-Re skyscraper by Norman Foster, next to the Ledenhall Building by Richard Rogers and 20 Fenchurch Street by Raphael Vignoli.
Construction of Trinity. EC3 is scheduled to be completed by 2014.
