The structure will appear on the outskirts of Speikenisse, south of the new urban area of Hogwleet. It will be located on the banks of the Meuse River branch turned into a pond.
The shape of the building will resemble a multi-winged shell, opening in both directions, like the auditorium located inside. This solution, as well as the use of the topographic irregularities of the site, will help viewers quickly and comfortably get into and out of their seats. A special place in the building, as in a traditional theater building, is occupied by the grand staircase leading to the hall from the spacious foyer - a space of curvilinear, "flying" shapes. A café will be opened in the building next to the lobby, serving as a link between the theater “amphitheater” and the city “amphitheater” of the reservoir outside.
The theater should open in 2011.
