The Nuova Boviza (New Boviza) project, developed by him together with the head of AMO Rainier de Graaf, involves the transformation of this old industrial area into a center for scientific research and high-tech production.
The set of measures planned under the EuroMilano program envisages the reconstruction of the currently neglected development with a total area of 850,000 m2 and the construction of another 600,000 m2. But this will not be an exclusively commercial project: first of all, the Boviza transport system will be updated, the highways passing through it will be allowed to bypass the district, and the necessary connection with the highways laid nearby will be provided by ring roads around individual microdistricts. The railway station will be linked to the pedestrian bridges located in Boviza since the 1990s on the campus of the Polytechnic University of Milan.
New residential areas, commercial buildings and scientific laboratories will also appear in the area. They will be interspersed with green recreational areas, footpaths and tramways. Bovisa will be closely connected to the neighboring areas and all of Milan.
So, it will become not only a "science park" of a new type, but also a full-fledged part of the city, where it will be possible to live, study, and grow. There will also be 20,000 m2 of cultural institutions - libraries and theaters for the Milan Triennial.
