The 600-unit home, 20% of which will be social housing, is a "hybrid" scheme - a cross between a traditional European neighborhood with perimeter buildings and courtyard greenery and a New York skyscraper.
The rectangular structure surrounding the courtyard rises on one side to a height of 142 m, resembling a curved pyramid, on the other, it descends to the level of the "podium", which will house commercial and cultural institutions.
On the one hand, this solution allowed to provide all apartments with a view of the Hudson River, on the other hand, to coordinate the house with the surrounding buildings, high-rise from the north and west and low-rise from the south. The facade will be enlivened by bay windows and balconies: one or the other will be in every apartment. The greenery in the courtyard closed from strangers will be visible from the outside of the complex, which will add to the attractiveness of the area.
