The grand and long-awaited opening after a lengthy reconstruction took place on October 28, 2011. JUNG products are installed both in the technical rooms at the “minus” levels of the Bolshoi Theater, which are hidden from the eyes of ordinary visitors, and in the new rehearsal and concert hall, in the VIP hall for ceremonial receptions, in the areas of the Bolshoi Theater administration, etc.

The JUNG design product line includes a wide variety of series in terms of style and color, therefore, at the Bolshoi Theater, the architects chose different series for different types of premises: the basic AS500 series was installed in technical rooms in white, in those areas where the interior, as conceived by the architects, required For a more sophisticated approach to the choice of sockets and switches, design series from the classic LS line have been installed: in steel version, in bronze, especially for some of the most significant areas of the Bolshoi Theater at the JUNG plant in Germany, an exclusive color “matt gold” was developed. The Bolshoi Theater is not the first historical site on a worldwide scale that has taken its rightful place in the list of reference sites where JUNG products were installed.

This year, after restoration for its 450th anniversary, St. Basil's Cathedral on Red Square was also opened. This historic building perfectly integrated the innovative radio control system from JUNG, which eliminated the unaesthetic wires that went right through the paintings on the walls and disturbed the stylistic perception. Now the dimming of light is provided in the Cathedral of St. Basil the Blessed. The use of a radio control system in such a historical site, which is under the protection of UNESCO, proves the fact that innovative technologies and solutions from JUNG can be applied not only in modern architecture; Using the example of St. Basil's Cathedral, we see how organically and delicately the JUNG radio control system breathed a note of modernity into this unique object, without violating its historical integrity.

Another landmark historical site where JUNG products are installed is the General Staff building on Palace Square in St. Petersburg, where the first stage of reconstruction and restoration of the eastern wing, which was transferred to the State Hermitage as a museum of 19th-21st century art, was completed last year. JUNG can be justly proud of the fact that its products are installed in such unique historical sites, this once again proves the impeccable quality, modern design and a variety of technical possibilities and solutions. In the light of the upcoming 100th anniversary of JUNG in the coming 2012, I just want to say: “100 years - progress as a tradition”. The future belongs to JUNG!
