The new building will house auditoriums and educational institutions. On the first floor, there are planned two halls for 500 and 150 seats, respectively; the Center also provides space for the city conservatory and ballet school, and provides space for rehearsal studios. Zones with different functions will be placed in their own blocks, organized around a central "pivot".
The facades of the future Center will be faced with perforated sheet metal; its pattern will "come down" from the walls of the building to the pavement of the area around, adapted for performances in the open air. Another public space will be an observation deck at the very top of the building; the terraces below it will be landscaped.
The total area of the construction will be 4500 m2, the budget is 60 million shekels (about 16 million dollars). Construction is scheduled to begin next year.
