Ural Instrument-Making Plant (Yekaterinburg) Participants of the competition are offered to develop a concept of architectural and urban planning solutions for the development of the territory of the Ural Instrument-Making Plant, which is located in the historical center of Yekaterinburg. The project involves the reconstruction of the plant's buildings, the construction of new facilities (residential buildings) and a complex solution of the territory.

The competition will be held in two stages: at the first stage, competitors will need to submit applications and submit a portfolio for consideration by the jury; at the second stage, the selected teams will be directly involved in the design of the quarter.

Source: cargocollective.com RAW: almond is a winter gourmet restaurant housed in a mobile ice pavilion at the intersection of the Assiniboine and Red River in Winnipeg, Canada. In the past two years, this restaurant has enjoyed great popularity among visitors and residents of the city. Now the organizers offer the participants of the competition to develop a project for a new pavilion to be built in January 2015.

If at the first stage the participants of the competition independently chose the location and purpose of the object, then at the second stage they will have to design for a specific place and with the declared function. The monument to the Russian avant-garde will be an open multi-functional venue for cultural events, which is planned to be placed in the bowl of the former fountain in front of the Globus Theater.

Designing the future. Prefabricated Wooden Houses

The objective of the competition is to design a single-family wooden house. The building should be constructed from modular elements, various combinations of which will provide variability in architectural solutions. House area - no more than 100 m2, number of storeys - one or more floors.

Contestants need to develop a project in accordance with the landscape, climate and cultural traditions of the country they represent.
