On October 15, at the Crocus Expo-2 Moscow Exhibition Center, the i Saloni WorldWide and MADE expo WorldWide exhibitions will start, which will last until October 18 inclusive. Within the framework of these events, it will be possible to get acquainted with the whole variety of ceramic tiles and sanitary ware from the leading Italian companies united by a common brand - Ceramics of Italy.

The collective stand, organized with the support of the Edi. Cer. Agency, Confindustria Ceramica and the agency for the promotion of foreign economic activity of the Italian companies ICE, will show the products of 30 manufacturers of ceramic tiles and porcelain stoneware.

We present to you two projects created with the use of several collections from the companies participating in the exhibition: Style out of time Palace in Tomashovo. A corner of history in the Lesser Danube Valley Half an hour's drive from the center of Bratislava, in an old park on the hills along the Lesser Danube, there is a majestic building in the Austrian Baroque style - the palace in Tomashovo. This building was built by Baron Jan Jesenak in 1766 as his own residence. Throughout its history, the estate has changed many owners and was rebuilt more than once. During the First World War, it was used as a military hospital, survived a severe fire, after which it was reconstructed, while retaining, however, the baroque exterior. The interiors of the palace have undergone more significant changes, finding a completely different solution in the Art Deco style.

In 2005 the palace was turned into an art hotel “Kastiel”. The current owners reflected the history of the building in its decoration, decorating each room in its own style: Baroque, Classicism, Art Deco, etc. This elegant style mix was created by the architect Lucia Bobikova. Delicate and thoughtful zoning of space, attention to detail, a mixture of styles, colors and textures of finishes - all this helped to create exquisite and at the same time cozy rooms, where advanced technology and the "spirit of the place" are combined.

In all rooms of the hotel, ceramic floor tiles from the NovaBell collection in different colors are used as a unifying motif. The combination of tiles of different textures looks especially advantageous, and the mixing of contrasting colors adds individuality to the interior. Thus, in the design of the common areas, square tiles from the “Must” series of different sizes and colors were used: white, black, beige. Such shades made it possible, for example, to create the image of a chessboard that leads the guest from the front entrance to the distant halls. For the bathrooms, the designers have selected models from the “York” series, which includes tiles in contrasting colors (black and white) and textures (glossy and matte).

The elegant design of the historic palace chapel is also worth noting. There, the white color is emphasized by discreet stained glass windows, an altar and liturgical utensils. The neoclassical floor collection “Absolute” in white Carrara marble tiles enhances the atmosphere of purity and simplicity in the chapel.

Hotel Baia dei Pini is located just outside Verona, on the eastern shore of Lake Garda, in the picturesque village of Torri del Benaco. Its complex includes the main house and Villa Antica, overlooking a flowered garden with a pool and a gazebo. This villa has successfully survived a large-scale but very careful renovation, becoming an example of the synthesis of practicality and beauty. As a result, all wooden beams were preserved and restored in its interiors, and the façade, in accordance with its original appearance, was faced with natural stone.

The villa's rooms are decorated in warm, soft colors. The shades and texture of walls, floors and ceilings are reminiscent of such noble materials as iron, wood, gold. Gold and beige furniture in combination with decorative elements create an atmosphere of home comfort inside. Ceramic tiles of dark woody shades play a significant role here, which fills the premises with warmth. These tiles are used in the rooms and on the stairs of Villa Antica.

Ceramiche Keope's Neowood floor tiles combine elegance and practicality to create a natural wood floor effect that blends in perfectly with the interior. However, the imagination of the designers was not limited to this. There are contrasts in the solution of the interiors: for example, light furniture and white ceiling beams look great against the background of a dark, almost black floor.
