Contest of ideas for the city of Pristina. The competition is open to anyone who has ever thought that the city of Pristina in Kosovo could be more beautiful, more convenient and safer. The Kosovo Architectural Foundation and the Pristina Municipality welcome ideas and proposals of all sizes, from intersections and sidewalks to public building projects and utopian theories. You can express yourself through an architectural project, artwork, photography, video, text, etc. The only condition is to indicate exactly the place that the participant wants to transform, and explain what improvements await the city if this idea is implemented.

Dream City 2015: New York Pavilion Design Competition
Pavilion of the project "City of Dreams" 2013: "Head in the Clouds", STUDIOKCA. Image: newyork.figmentproject.org For the fifth time, the non-profit art organization FIGMENT, together with the New York branch of the AIA, is holding a competition, and then building the "Dream City" pavilion on Governor's Island. The pavilion serves as an information point, as well as a venue for lectures and other events. The structure should be environmentally friendly; it is also required to think over a convenient way of transporting and processing materials. The competition will be held in two stages. In the first round, the jury will select several finalists and give their recommendations for improving the projects, and then name the absolute winner.
The picture shows the installation “Head in the Clouds”, built on the Governor's Island according to the STUDIOKCA project (from recycled materials) within the framework of the same project in 2013.
