Back in 1973, Vittorio Livi made his dream come true - he turned glass into the "star" of the design world, and famous designers continue this tradition with success. Glass is an amazing and long-sought-after material by mankind, known since the time of the ancient Phoenicians. Modern product design and architecture cannot be imagined without the use of glass.
FIAM is a unique and the only manufacturer in the world of art objects and interior items made of single bent crystal glass. Doriana and Massimiliano Fuchsas, Daniel Libeskind, Philippe Starck, Rodolfo Dordoni, Paolo Rizzato, Xavier Lust, Dante O. Benini, Danny Line, Vico Magistretti and many other architects, designers, sculptors - "co-authors" of FIAM Italia and its founder Vitio Livi designer.
The exhibition at Arch Moscow featured works by architects and designers: Caadre mirror (Philippe Stark), Phantom mirror (Helidon Xhixa, Dante O. Benini, Luca Gonzo), Lucy mirrors and Roy table (Doriana e Massimiliano Fuksas), Shell table (Danny Lane), Babele showcases (Massimo Morozzi), Ghost armchair (Cini Boeri), The Wing mirror (Daniel Libeskind).
The curator of the exhibition Irina Shutko told about the history of the creation of objects by famous designers, about the peculiarities of manufacturing technologies and the invention of the latest technologies - this and many other things in her presentation "Crystal Handwriting".
The organizer of the exposition ARCHISTUDIO was awarded the Diploma of the Arch Moscow exhibition in the nomination "Best Special Project".
FIAM is represented in Russia by ARCHISTUDIO.
