21st Century City Park: Paxton Memorial Competition
Illustration: landscapeinstitute.org The competition is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the death of Joseph Paxton, architect and landscape designer, creator of the first public parks in Birkenhead and Liverpool. Today, competitors are invited to rethink the concept of urban parks in the UK. In doing so, it is necessary to take into account not only social and economic factors, but also the need for sustainable urban development and maintenance of biological diversity. Contestants are encouraged to draw inspiration from Paxton's projects and ideas.

Housing for London: New Ideas
The mission of the competition is to find solutions to the housing problem, which is one of the main in London. The population of the city is constantly growing, and the issue of the lack of affordable housing is especially acute today. Tens of thousands of families do not have a permanent place of residence. Participants need to propose ideas for improving London's housing arrangements in terms of construction, architecture and design.

Fairfax Harbor 2015 - Architecture Ideas Competition

Memorial to World War I in Washington DC

However, until now, no monuments to the soldiers of the First World War have been created in the capital of the United States. Participants of the competition are invited to develop a concept for a memorial that will become a symbol of recognition, honor and respect for these servicemen.
