Illustration: competitions.malcolmreading.co.uk Tintagel is a legendary castle associated with the legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, Tristan and Isolde and other heroes of European culture. The monument that has come down to us in ruins is an example of the unique interaction of nature and architecture. The mainland and island parts of the castle are connected by a narrow isthmus. A wooden walkway was built here in 1975, which is now actively used by visitors. The organizers of the competition invite participants to create a concept for a new pedestrian bridge, which will not only make it easier to move around the castle, but will also become an observation platform for tourists and local residents.
