Art platform for Suncheon

Bamboo architecture for the "creator village" in China

Therefore, the organizers of the competition propose to think about how to make the countryside more attractive for both residents of the country and for tourists. It is proposed to create a kind of “village of creators” on the competitive territory, where life will not be limited to farming. A well-developed infrastructure will also appear here: exhibition spaces, an art residence, a library, bars, restaurants and other facilities. Basic requirement: bamboo should be the predominant material in projects.

HYP Cup 2016. Transformation of Architecture - Student Competition
The international student competition UIA-HYP Cup is being held for the fifth time. The competition is aimed at finding original architectural ideas, socially oriented and based on the concept of sustainable development. Participants are invited to rethink the history of architecture and propose ways of its transformation, taking into account the needs of modern people. Contestants can choose one of five objects for design: library, museum, medical clinic, mini-hotel, cemetery. The place of the hypothetical implementation is also at the discretion of the participants.
