The International School of Design on Shabolovka will host Big Book Day on October 29 - the day of book novelties. Zhenya Zhdanova, Masha Shakhova, Marina Skulskaya and other authors will present their books.
The exhibition "30 Years of MDM. Keeping Traditions. Creating the Future", timed to coincide with the anniversary of the Moscow Palace of Youth, will open on Monday evening and will run until November 11. At the opening Ruben Arakelyan (WALL) will talk about the concept of the building's reconstruction.
Several discussions are planned to be held during the week within the framework of the exhibition “Transform. Adapt. Save”, dedicated to the Dutch experience of working with cultural heritage. Two of them will be held on October 31 - “Invisible and obvious. How to work with intangible heritage in space? " and New Heritage featuring Eric and Ronald Rietveld (RAAAF Bureau). Two more can be visited over the weekend: Theory of Small Matters in Preservation of Heritage on Saturday and “Inheritance Matters. What attracts an investor to cultural monuments? " on Sunday. Among the participants: Christian Koreman (ZUS bureau), MARCH teacher Sergey Kryuchkov, Bart Schonderbijk (Schipper Bosch company) and Sergey Tchoban (SPEECH).
On November 1, the HSE School of Design will host an open day - visitors will learn about short and annual retraining and advanced training programs for the upcoming academic year. Among the presented directions there are several interior ones.
