The new Istanbul airport, which began fully functioning last spring, claims to be the largest in the world. Now it is capable of serving up to 90 million passengers a year. When the final, fourth stage is delivered, this number will almost double. The new airport project is a collaboration between Grimshaw, Nordic Office of Architecture and Haptic Architects.

The architects created a separate universe under their own sky. Huge single roof of 420,000 m² - another record (the terminal has become the world's largest air terminal complex under one roof).
The roof of the terminal is faced with a standing seam from BEMO. This is the world's largest metal roof structure without cold bridges and joints

This is not the end of BEMO's work in Istanbul.
The company's products are actively used in the construction of Cargo City buildings. Some of them have already been completed. For example, the SFM hangar for Turkish airlines DO & CO (catering), where 20,400 m² of standing seam BEMO paintings were installed - continuously up to 142 meters long.
The GSEM (Ground Service Equipment and Maintenance) and ASG (Security Air Gate) buildings, with a total area of over 25,000 m², will also receive BEMO roofs.
