The exhibition-presentation "City: Details" was held in the capital for the first time as part of the "My District" program. She focuses on small architectural forms, their impact on the quality of the urban environment and the life of citizens. Ideas for landscaping objects in several categories were accepted for the competition of the exhibition: outdoor furniture, playground, art object.
In total, the organizers received 141 projects from 22 cities in Russia and other countries. Among the works sent were "smart" benches, and lanterns, and bicycle parking, and street modules for distributing wi-fi, and much more. Often these items were combined into whole ensembles.
The winners were determined by an expert jury, which included, among others, the chief architect of Moscow Sergey Kuznetsov, director of the European manufacturer of small architectural forms MMCITE David Karasek, British landscape architect Peter Fink, Israeli architect HQ Architects Smadar Efrati, associate professor of the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Moscow Architectural Institute Ekaterina Ozhegova and head jury Dmitry Burov, general director of the company "MAF: market".
