The adidas HALFTIME (ie Break) was commissioned by the Danish architects COBE in an international competition in 2014. The 15,500 m2 building appeared at the company's headquarters in the Bavarian city of Herzogenaurach. It accommodates the “common areas”: the main dining room, meeting rooms, conference room and showroom for the “brand ambassadors”.

The building has a diamond-shaped plan and is covered with a roof with a large overhang. Its glazing (it occupies a third of its area, totaling 8650 m2) is supported by concrete beams 16 meters long and weighing 28 tons each.

Natural light, as expected, plays an important role in the interior, as well as plants - in the form of indoor plants in tubs, winter gardens, green walls. Beams also define the look of the premises, as does the ceiling height of 8 meters.

Twelve meeting rooms and workshops have been given the appearance of one or another sports facility, including a swimming pool and changing rooms. The workshop of adidas founder Adi Dassler has not been forgotten either. The conference hall for 1,500 seats received wall decoration on the theme of the Swedish wall.
