Richard Driehaus Architectural Competition. II stage

The competition aims to find ideas for the preservation of national and cultural identity in the architecture and urban planning of Spain. The competition takes place in two stages. In the first, four competition areas were selected: Alsira, Santa Cruz de la Palma, Guadix, Santiago de Compostela. On the second, architects and urbanists should propose projects for their development. Preference should be given to the use of traditional motives, local materials, modern technologies, which at the same time will not interfere with emphasizing the historical value of the region.
