Pilestredet 77/79 is named after its address in the Fagerborg district, on Pilestredet Street, northwest of the center of Oslo. Around - buildings of the XIX-XX centuries in three to five floors, varied, but generally restrained. The new residential complex is bordered by the small Stens Park and the Fagerborg church of the first years of the last century. The relief is typical for Oslo, and the building of the office of Reyulf Ramstad stands above the slope, visible from afar.
Therefore, it was important for architects to accurately fit it into the environment. This is a complex of three residential buildings - at the corner of two streets there is a six-storey one, the largest one, there are 6-8 apartments on the floor - of different sizes and layouts. Two smaller buildings with the same building area - five and four stories high, where two and four apartments alternate on a tier. There are 59 apartments in the complex, their varying characteristics should attract tenants of different ages and lifestyles.
The facades are covered with neutral light brick, which blends well with the foliage of the park and looks good in the long twilight, which is important for Oslo.
Architectural concrete and wood have been used in the lobbies and stairwells, the roofs have been transformed into terraces for residents to relax. The complex includes a cafe-bakery on the ground floor and an underground garage.
