Saint Petersburg, end of 2019
The VKontakte office occupies several floors of the famous
Singer's houses on Nevsky Prospekt, as well as a dome into which every employee can climb. In 2008, the building underwent a major restoration, but since the vaults, stucco and carpet in the elevator are not the most obvious decorations for IT specialists, the spaces are gradually changing, adapting to tenants.
Briz Studio designed the interiors of the third and seventh floors, also paying attention to the logic of movement between all departments. The architects have partially returned to the historic layout with large halls, which over the years have been “sliced” by numerous tenants, resulting in spacious, light spaces for teamwork. For privacy and concentration, there are offices with round through windows that create the effect of a suite. Many spaces are multifunctional or adaptable - thanks to the sliding partitions, the kitchen, for example, can be converted into a conference room for 130 people.
Metal ceilings, brass fixtures, arches and natural materials maintain the spirit of the place, while the green wall creates a vigorous, life-affirming accent.

Avito's office is located in the St. Petersburg Plaza business park and occupies three floors with a total area of about 2500 m2.
The key wishes of the customer were ergonomics of space and bright design, corresponding to the spirit of the company - creative, informal, young. The wishes were taken into account: so much so that some workplaces are more like a playroom in a restaurant.
The concept is based on natural motives: plaster imitating the bark of a tree, felt ottomans-pebbles and beehive lamps, carpet with “grass” and “paths” and culminating in the decoration of the ceiling in the entrance areas with thick foliage made of refractory paper. The dining area, shaped like a retro carriage crossing the Swiss Alps, promises vacation and adventure. For recreation, Avito has rooms for board and computer games, libraries with shelving in the form of trees and a living corner with a hedgehog, which especially pleases the night shift.
Of course, there is no shortage of comfortable workplaces: classic open offices with desks, separate niches and numerous meeting rooms allow you to work both alone and in a team. Wall graphics are the values formulated by Avito for its employees.

Mango telecom

Customer: Mango Telecom
Moscow, 2019
Mango Telecom, the leader of the Russian virtual PBX market, occupies three floors of a business center located in the former Research Institute of Printing Engineering, which features reinforced ceilings, high ceilings and large windows. The customer asked to build "Mango House" - a place where you can not only work, but also communicate, make friends, find support.
Visitors are greeted by the reception desk in the form of a ripe mango fruit, made according to the drawings of the ARCHPOLE architects. Its rich yellow color becomes the main motif in other spaces as well. Each floor has a similar set of functional rooms: meeting rooms, alcoves for individual work, a kitchen, an area for relaxation and informal communication, a library. But the design is different. The HR department, for example, occupies colorful "houses", while the teams developing the company's IT products are more familiar open offices. Bright brush graffiti in the work areas was done by Studio Bright Brush, and stabilized moss was used for landscaping. In the future, a fitness area with showers is planned, as well as sleep capsules.

Office of the architectural bureau CNTR
CNTR architects / Andrey Chuikov, Pavel Meukh
Yekaterinburg, 2018
Architects from Yekaterinburg were unsuccessfully looking for a space where they would work well until they decided to create it themselves. The office is located in the apart-complex Radius Central House. The four main areas - the common workspace, meeting room, kitchen and executive offices - can be transformed to host four meetings at once without disrupting the comfort of the core team. Next to the kitchen there was a place for a server room, combined with a plotter and an archive. Accents are set against the background of monochrome walls and concrete ceilings: laminated chipboard trim, orange curtains, bamboo on the tables. All furniture is made according to individual drawings.
