On Monday, October 24, the first festival for young metropolitan architects "Urban space: the view of future city planners" starts in Moscow. The idea of the festival is to draw attention to the issues of creating a comfortable public urban environment and demonstrate the view of novice architects and designers, as well as students, on the design of amenities.
On October 25, VOOPIK invites you to visit the Russian-French forum dedicated to volunteering in the preservation and protection of historical and cultural heritage. Lost Moscow in 3D Models: Kitai-Gorod will open at the Museum of Moscow on Wednesday. One of the oldest districts of the capital has changed significantly over the past century: the Kitaygorodskaya wall, temples, shopping arcades and the whole Zaryadye district were demolished. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to look at the models of the lost buildings, created on the basis of drawings and measurements, photographs and diagrams found in museums, archives and libraries.
