Ecotourism development in Russia

The purpose of the competition is to identify pilot territories for the development of ecological tourism in terms of creating tourist and recreational clusters within the framework of the integrated development of specially protected and adjacent natural areas, contributing to the development of small and medium-sized businesses, the growth of employment and incomes of the population of the regions of the Russian Federation, the development of rural areas, interaction between public authorities, entrepreneurs and local residents. The result of the competition will be the creation of 10 pilot tourist and recreational clusters. Applications are accepted from regional multidisciplinary teams. It is planned to admit 30 applicants to participate in the program.
