This tragedy has, to one degree or another, affected the lives of thousands of people around the world. The biggest blow was the Netherlands: the plane crash claimed the lives of 193 citizens of this country.

It was in Amsterdam, in the very heart of the city, on the previously closed territory of the Maritime Department, that it was decided to create a memorial and a landscape park in memory of the tragedy. This new urban space must be accessible to all, free of politics and considerate of the feelings of those affected.

Participants must provide a project of the complex, which, in addition to the memorial and the park, will include a multifunctional space, a conference room, a cafe and offices for the administration.
