Last week, the Central House of Artists summed up the results of the competition for a project for the development of the recreation area "Troparevo", the customer of which was the Moscow Department of Nature Management and Environmental Protection. The participants were tasked with developing the design of the entrance and coastal zones, as well as improving the route from the main entrance to the recreation area itself. The established budget for the implementation is 1,500,000 rubles. The improvement works are planned to start in August.
In total, the organizers received 12 works, all of them are presented on the competition website. And we publish projects that have won prizes.
First place
Valeria Pestereva and Roman Kovensky
Architectural bureau "Park"
The architects came up with a recognizable, functional and yet easy-to-implement solution. Basic principles of the project: modularity and unity of materials. Nikolay Belousov, architect, teacher of MARSH, chairman of the jury of the competition, commented on the choice of the jury as follows: “We chose this work because we consider it right to start transformations from the entrance zone. The inscription suggested by the guys: "Teply Stan" with a bench that literally invites you to sit down, it's like "hello" to everyone who comes in."
Second place
Egor Ivashin, Ivan Pryazhnikov and Ilya Zhuravlev
students of the St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering
This project, according to the jury, is the most elaborate and brilliant. However, its implementation may not fit into the agreed budget and the allotted time frame. In addition, the concept implies a more serious intervention in the natural environment compared to the winning project, and the organizers tried to minimize this interference.
Third place
Gleb Bogomolov and Natalya Zhurikova
students of the Novosibirsk State University of Architecture, Design and Arts
The project received a prize for a rational and discreet solution of the beach area, which can be implemented with minimal changes to the existing landscape. The whole concept is imbued with the desire to make the architect's influence on the environment as invisible as possible.
