This is a joint project of the Scottsdale authorities and the university with an estimated cost of $ 250-300 million. Detailed planning and construction itself will take about 10 years. As a result, office buildings, a conference center with a hotel, and an apartment building with a total area of 111.5 thousand m2 will appear there.
The 17-hectare complex will be a group of buildings with a wooded space between them. This café area will be covered with huge ETFE membrane “sails”: thus 4645 m2 will be shaded.
The main road through the complex will be flanked by rows of small shops, inspired by the famous La Rambla in Barcelona.
