A simple and clear scenario suggested the structure of autonomous blocks of premises: master, guest and wellness. The architects, separating them into separate volumes, added another one - an entrance glass atrium tower. The block with the pool was equated to the water element, the guest block with an office and a separate entrance - to a calm land, the master's zone with a fireplace in a two-height space - to a hearth of fire. Instead of the traditional fourth element of the wind, a more inert "air" appeared in the house, represented by the same glass entrance. As in the real world, air comes into contact with all other elements without affecting them in any way, but uniting them, so the entrance atrium collects the other three volumes into a single composition. Its interior is planned to be almost street-like, with a fountain, a bench and a central staircase.
The stone finishing of all volumes will be cut into this glass parallelepiped, so that the result will be a small covered courtyard, with its scale and structure somehow reminiscent of illustrations from the life of ancient Rome. Considering that the central staircase is also intended for service personnel, the living room of the house has its own rise to the second floor. In this regard, it does not seem strange that the customer's proposal to arrange antique fragments of architectural details in an array of walls - the space allows and intrigues.
In order to avoid overheating of the glass space and greater imagery of the atrium - "air", the authors proposed to apply a geometric pattern a’la chain mail on the walls - such bubbles turned out. True, the architects believe that in the course of further development they can be modified. Another thing is that, regardless of the final ornamental motive, it was decided to extend it to all functional blocks - after all, air can leak anywhere.
As a result, it appeared on some windows, as well as in the form of massive concrete pergolas. They cover more private areas: bathroom windows, dining room, part of the balcony. The "spontaneity" of the remaining volumes is planned to be expressed in the decoration: one type of stone will be used outside, but with a different texture - so, the "earth" will be rougher, and the "water" will be completely smooth. A wide variety of materials related to a particular element is promised in interiors that are just emerging at the concept stage. Thus, the owners will get their own finished world surrounded by a large garden, in which even the garage is planned to be buried inside the hill.
