The building was erected next to the center "Labels Berlin 1", located in a renovated warehouse of the early 20th century. Despite the fact that 6,300 m2 of a new building have now been added to its 8,000 m2 of space, the owners of Labels Berlin plan to build a third center next to it by 2012. Such activity seems to them completely justified, since Berlin has already taken the place of the fashionable capital of Germany in the last 10 years, and in front of it, in their opinion, international leadership.

The HHF architects chose the sine wave as the main motive for their project: this is how they visually connected the new building with the arcades of the historic façade "Labels Berlin 1". Two superimposed sinusoids of different amplitudes describe the wavy profile of the facade solution, and the building's supports, connected to each other by concrete arches, have similar outlines. Such an interior solution should provide flexibility in planning, which means freedom of action for each company that opens a showroom or shop in the building. At the same time, a common theme, unique for the center, is preserved on all floors.

Labels Berlin 2 also provides space for fashion shows and presentations, both on the rooftop terrace and on the ground floor, where the span between the supports is greater than on other levels. It is there, at the bottom, that a black spiral staircase begins, the plastic volume of which also serves as a motive uniting all the tiers of the building.
