With the AluWALL® façade, the buildings of the Rosa Khutor and Poselkovaya power substations in the Krasnaya Polyana district of Sochi have turned into real art objects, mesmerizing with their multicolored radiance.

The light passing through the perforated aluminum panels gives the impression of an alien object. Lightness, airiness - it is simply hard to believe that under all this lace there is a complex energy equipment.

The total area of the AluWALL® facade was 2100 m22 (including conventional panels, slopes and ventilation grilles). Panel material - aluminum alloy FF2, thickness 2 mm, white metallic. Substructure - stainless steel. Installation of the AluWALL® facade was carried out by the Metal Facade company.

The uniqueness of this AluWALL® project lies in the uniqueness of the pattern of the perforated panels. For each panel, the SMK company compiled an individual program, according to which the sheet was cut on a coordinate punch press and, then, its final processing on a press brake. Thus, each of 1400 m2 perforated panel has its own pattern.

Rosa Khutor and Poselkovaya is the third project in the Sochi region, implemented with the use of the AluWALL® facade system. The author of the project, like the two previous ones - the architectural and artistic design of the portals of the Adler road - "Alpika-Service" and the Architectural and spatial composition "Rings" - the architect, professor of the International Architectural Academy Karen Saprichyan.

Of the features of work at the Rosa Khutor and Poselkovaya substations, the following can be noted. The installation was carried out at an operating power facility with a voltage of 110 kV, which required the installers of jewelry precision and the highest skill.

The substation building is a frame structure with enclosing sandwich panels. Before the installation of the facade, a complex strength calculation was performed, taking into account the characteristics of the building and the climatic features of the region. At present, all assembly work at the Rosa Khutor and Poselkovaya energy facilities has been fully completed.

Modern aluminum processing technologies allow you to create imitations like marble, granite, wood, patinated copper and embody any architectural ideas. AluWALL®system facades can also be made of natural copper and stainless steel.
