Working with manufacturers, the Kirill company additionally checks the declared technical characteristics. The most difficult and time-consuming criterion to check is frost resistance. The certification requirements in the West for this indicator are very humane, and we, firstly, must be sure that in harsh climatic conditions the brick will not lose its proper strength, and, secondly, find out the real indicator of frost resistance, which often significantly exceeds the manufacturer's declared one. In 2013, at NIIMosstroy, Kirill checked the products of three DAAS BAKSTEEN factories, seven factories of the IBSTOCK company, and the domestic KERMA plant. CRH Clay Solutions and Hagemeister products are currently being tested.
