The residential area of 7 buildings with a height of 5-13 floors bears the name of its architect: Hadid Residences. By the same principle, a second residential complex in the same area, designed by Daniel Libeskind, is named after him.
A large-scale project CityLife is being implemented in Milan on the site of a former exhibition complex. The main thing there will be not mid-rise housing, but three skyscrapers - designed by Hadid, Libeskind and Arata Isozaki, respectively. There is also a large city park designed by Katherine Gustafson, a museum and infrastructure facilities.
Hadid Residences look relatively restrained: the "undulating movement of curved balconies" reported by the developer is not too conspicuous. The complex has apartments ranging in size from ordinary two-room to 2-storey penthouses, each with a spacious terrace and two parking spaces in the underground garage.
