Lohengrin, directed by Klaus Guth and directed by conductor Daniel Barenboim, is the world event that kicked off the opera season at La Scala.

The performance was broadcast live in Italy on the Rai5 and RaiHd channels on channel 501, in Europe on the Arte-Zdf channel, in Russia on the Russia K TV channel, in Japan by NHK on Christmas Day and live on Radio3. In addition, the show will be shown in one hundred cinemas in Italy, 300 throughout Europe and 200 in the United States of America, Canada and Australia.

The set design of the opera evokes cinematic associations, recalling shots from films by Bernardo Bertolucci, Alejandro Amenabar and even Andrei Tarkovsky. The action takes place in an indefinite place, reminiscent of both a barracks, and a multi-storey city mansion with arcades in the courtyard, where each chorister is allocated a square, and the old Russian estates of Chekhov's plays with nostalgic wooden platforms near the reservoir, and the scenery of Tarkovsky's films. The decoration by Christian Schmidt and the lighting by Olaf Winter are exceptionally beautiful.

Passion for what you love and care for details draw strength from the "wooden heart" that distinguishes doors made of natural solid wood. Thus, the signature of the founder of the company, Fernando Garofoli, on every door produced at the factory, becomes an evidence of a personal guarantee of quality, a symbol of the transformation of any door from a simple industrial product into an author's work.

The Garofoli factory in Russia is represented by the Triumfalnaya Marka company.

Opera Lohengrin, in three acts, composer Wilhelm Richard Wagner, libretto - composer who used various versions of medieval legends about the noble Swan Knight, whose origin is shrouded in mystery, about the holy kingdom of the Grail and its ruler Parsifal.
