On May 14, 2015, the German company Dornbracht, the world leader in the production of sanitary equipment for bathrooms and premium kitchens, held an ArchiChef charity dinner in St. Petersburg. Twenty famous Petersburg architects, designers and cultural representatives took part in the event. Together, they cooked three courses in the open kitchen and baked gluten-free bread, then sampled their culinary delights at a large table.

Values such as a healthy lifestyle, the prevention of wellness and an improvement in the quality of life are global mega-trends and are central to the philosophy of Dornbracht, which has long been the initiator and protagonist of various cultural and humanitarian projects. The ArchiChef project, the first dinner organized by Dornbracht in May 2014 in Moscow, is a charitable project in favor of the Center for Autism Problems.

Children and adults diagnosed with autism are forced to give up a number of foods, including bread so beloved by many. The ArchiChef project, which Dornbracht conducts together with the Russian manufacturer of gluten-free flour Garnets, promotes the culture of gluten-free nutrition, which is not yet popular in Russia, as one of the aspects of a healthy lifestyle that is important not only for autists, but also for everyone who follows your well-being. The project has published a beautifully illustrated book on the effects of gluten and offering alternative recipes for “safe” and tasty dishes.
