Zunda park: territory development
The competition is dedicated to the search for concepts for the development of the historical territory of Zunda park in Riga. On an area of about 8 hectares, it is planned to create a multifunctional quarter with residential and commercial facilities, in which it is necessary to form a comfortable urban environment. The goal is to provide citizens with the opportunity to live, work and spend their free time without leaving their area.

35th competition "Idea in 24 hours"
The thirty-fifth “Idea in 24 Hours” competition will focus on the consequences of the pandemic and will be held under the theme “Farming”. Rethinking train stations
The task of the participants is to revise the design and equipment of small and medium British railway stations in order to make traveling around the country more comfortable and memorable. New human scale
Projects and conceptual materials (books, essays, etc.) on the role of architecture and urban planning in increasing the social, educational and economic potential of society are accepted for the competition. Taking into account the urgent problems for all mankind (climate change, pandemic, overpopulation, social inequality, etc.), it is necessary to present the architecture of a new format. The best works will be on display at the Aedes Architecture Forum in Berlin in January 2021.

Alternative 33rd District

Glamping on Mount Aconcagua
Contestants are required to design a series of permanent and temporary structures for the base camp on the slope of Mount Aconcagua, the highest in the Andes Mountains. A training center, a first-aid post, a warehouse for storing food, as well as spaces for accommodating climbers will be organized here. The chosen format is glamping, which means hiking conditions as close to comfortable as possible.
