The Royal Danish Academy of Arts invites you to a lecture by the Danish architectural bureau LETH & GORI.
This is the first daylight Talks event in 2021 organized by VELUX, together with prominent representatives of architectural schools.
A series of webinars will explore the importance of natural light in architecture and introduce renowned architects and craftsmen who professionally use sunlight in their projects and educational programs.
LETH & GORI's lecture entitled "Daylight as a Building Block in Architecture" will tell us about their project process based on the understanding that daylight is a morphological element for creating space for living, as exemplified by projects from Sir Lincoln Inn Fields. John Soane to Gordon Matt-Clark and the workshop's own work - transforming traditional housing and cultural heritage into new buildings.
The live online event will take place on February 4, 2021 at 18:00 (Moscow time), participation is free. To register, go to www.daylightandarchitecture.com.
The lecture will last 45 minutes, followed by a 30-minute Q&A session.
The broadcast will take place live from the LETH & GORI studio.
Daylight Talks are approved by the International Union of Architects (UIA) and the European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE).
