HR specialist Katharina Pahl, who previously worked for Metro AG, was appointed to the newly created HR Director, and Oliver Schubert replaced Lothar Linde as Managing Director. who resigned from a leading position in connection with the achievement of 62 years of age. The group also includes Michael Flacke as CFO.

The strategic development program of the DORMA concern until 2020, initiated at the end of 2010, is aimed at increasing the competitiveness and increasing the group's market share over the next 10 years. By 2020, the plan is to increase revenues to € 2 billion and double the return on sales. According to the executive director of the concern, Thomas P. Wagner, in his report on the development strategy, this will require attracting additional labor resources, and achieving the planned indicators (the total number of employees is more than 10,000 people) is a difficult but achievable task. Implementation of the set goals is impossible without the development of the personnel management system, which serves as the strategic basis for the concern's activities. “We intend to attract hardworking, dedicated employees and help them achieve new professional heights, which implies, among other things, conducting systematic work to find and train future specialists and leaders,” explained Thomas P. Wagner.

In view of the increased importance of the HR system for the strategic development of the DORMA concern, a new position of HR Director was introduced to the management board, which has been held since January 1, 2011 by Katharina Pahl, who has extensive experience in HR development, strategic HR management, planning continuity within the company and professional development of the management team. Prior to that, Katarina Pahl held senior positions in HR services for companies such as OBI and Kaufhof, and successfully headed the central HR department of Metro Group Buying International), Dusseldorf, which is part of the Metro concern (Metro).

Oliver Schubert, prior to joining the DORMA concern, where he joined on January 1, 2011, served as Production Director at Schmitz Cargobull AG, which manufactures trailers for commercial vehicles. With many years of experience in optimizing and increasing the economic efficiency of production in the automotive industry, he is a key figure in the internationalization of the DORMA Group's own strategy of OPTIMIZING AND INCREASING THE ECONOMIC PRODUCTION EFFICIENCY. Prior to that, Oliver Schubert held various international management positions at MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG, a commercial vehicle manufacturer, where, in particular, as Chairman of the Management Board of MAN Star Trucks & Buses), Poland, and Member of the Management Board of Neoman Bus GmbH, was responsible for the management of the city bus sector for the MAN and NEOPLAN brands. Earlier, Oliver Schubert worked for the car manufacturer Porsche AG, St. Stuttgart, where he carried out production management and logistics planning.
