In recent years, the share of energy costs in industry and utilities has sharply increased in Russia. Warming of houses is an urgent topic, especially in the winter season, when heat is spent 2.5-3 times more than in Finland, Germany and the Scandinavian countries. The main reason for such a large consumption of energy resources is that the walls of our houses and offices do not meet modern thermal protection requirements.

The main way to reduce energy consumption for heating is to reduce heat loss through the enclosing structures of buildings and structures. The Tatprof company is constantly improving its products. To reduce heat losses in the TP-50300 post-transom facade system, a new co-extruded thermal bridge TPU-010-05 was introduced.

A feature of this thermal bridge is the presence of soft movable petals. When installing the filling, the petals touch the seam of the glass unit, forming a multi-chamber space filled with air. This solution creates an additional barrier to the penetration of cold to the inner aluminum part of the stained-glass window. The main profile of the thermal bridge is made of frost-resistant PVC, like a standard thermal bridge. In this regard, during the installation process, there are no additional costs associated with an increase in labor intensity. TPU -010-05 is used for filling 32 mm. The design of the main profile of the thermal bridge allows the installation of PVC additional elements to increase the thickness of the used filling up to 46 mm.

To assess the effect of using a co-extruded thermal bridge, the thermal characteristics were calculated in the Therm program for the unit of the TP-50300 facade series with a SPD 6M1-14TGIAr-6I-14TGIAr-6I glass unit for Moscow conditions. The reduced resistance of the unit of the profile system of the TP-50300 series was R = 0.80 m2C / W. The reduced profile resistance was Rprof= 0.6 m2C / W.
