The Penza Cinema and Concert Hall is a four-storey building, built and equipped in accordance with modern trends in construction. A huge hall for 1600 seats meets the most modern requirements, comfortable spacious dressing rooms allow artists to prepare for the performance, and four buffets have time to serve everyone who wants to have a cup of coffee or tea during the intermission. There are also four lifts, rehearsal rooms and private study rooms, and a large foyer on the second floor hosts all kinds of exhibitions, master classes, creative evenings and presentations.
Anyone who has ever been to a concert or performance knows how important a high-quality sound is, when every note and every word can be heard well in any row at any place and there is no unnecessary echo and resonance. According to A. A. Breusov, head of A. A. Breusova, “Modern sound-absorbing materials, such as the Ecophon panels we have used, allow us not only to achieve the highest quality room acoustics, but also open up endless design possibilities. Master Rigid Dp systems were installed on the ceiling of the hall, and Solo Rectangle on the walls. The foyer was also decorated with Focus E sound absorbing panels. Leading Russian performers, including members of the Turetsky Choir, Philip Kirkorov and others, appreciated the acoustics of the Penza CC.
