Any private, office or industrial building must be secure in the first place. Fire protection is one of the key factors. The alt=W72 FR system is used to manufacture doors, external and internal windows, as well as blind structures of the required dimensions, which at the same time have increased fire resistance indicators. Externally, fireproof structures are no different from ordinary windows and doors, however, thanks to modern materials and manufacturing technology, they not only successfully resist fire, but are also more durable.

The fire protection system alt=W72 FR allows the production of single and double leaf coplanar doors with external opening with a fire resistance rating of 30, 45 and 60 minutes.
For additional fixation in door structures alt=W72 FR, fire protection strips are provided, installed on the hinge side. When closing, the pins of the plates engage with steel strikers located on the door frame profile, and in case of burnout of the hinges, they support the door leaf in the closed position.
Protection from hot gases, flames and smoke is provided by a thermal sealing tape, which is glued around the entire perimeter of the end of the door leaf and door frame, as well as the cavity under the seam of the glass unit and the clamping glazing bead. Under the influence of high temperature, the tape foams and expands, reliably closing the gaps between the door frame and the frame.
To prevent the structure from delaminating during a fire and not being destroyed due to the melting of aluminum or plastic, steel clamps and corner connectors are provided. These elements are installed in increments from 250 to 300 mm. At the same time, steel connectors do not complicate the design and do not require additional processing of profiles.
Window constructions. Emergency closing will be triggered in case of fire
On the basis of alt=W72 FR, single, double and multi-sash windows with fire resistance limits of 15, 30 and 60 minutes can be produced. Fireproof windows open inward and are necessarily equipped with an automatic drive and an emergency closing system in case of a fire.
The hardware grooves are made on the basis of a 20 × 15 mm Euro groove, therefore, in the window structures alt=W72 FR, a standard set of both premium and budget fittings for tilt, turn and tilt-and-turn opening methods can be used.
In addition to various sets of fire-resistant inserts for sealing gaps under the handles in windows and doors based on alt=W72, heat-sealing gaskets can be used.
Partitions. Fire resistance up to 45 minutes
ALT W72 FR also allows the production of stained-glass windows and partitions with fire resistance limits of 15 and 45 minutes. The fire protection properties of these structures are also ensured by the use of fire resistant inserts, steel clips, corner connectors and heat sealing tape.
Installation. No additional processing
The fire protection system alt=" W72 FR is based on the popular window and door series with thermal insulation alt=" W72. Thanks to this, standard equipment is used for processing and installing the profiles of the fire protection system. In addition, universal steel reinforcing elements are used in all types of profiles and system units.
The set of original glazing beads, offered in alt=W72 FR, allows the installation of infills up to 26 mm thick without milling for steel clips. The absence of additional processing reduces installation time and eliminates the need to use additional equipment.
Leading manufacturers of fire protection glass offer products that meet fire resistance requirements of at least EIW 60 and fill thickness up to 26 mm. Thus, the original glazing beads allow for a convenient fastening of the insulating glass unit in all types of structures that meet the fire resistance requirements, including EIW 60. If necessary, the system can also be used with a blind filling with a thickness of up to 50 mm.
