At the last Zodchestvo festival, the Kleinewelt Architekten bureau organized the New Moscow Centers exposition dedicated to the results of the study of the same name. Students of one of the diploma groups of the Moscow Architectural Institute have developed projects for the development of territories adjacent to eight stations of the Moscow Central Circle. The teachers of the group are architects Olga Sytnik, Sergey Pereslegin, Olga Konyukova, Anna Belugina, Maria Gelfand.
Analysis of the transport system and functional zoning of the city made it possible to substantiate the creation of one or another infrastructure around the stations. During the design process, students took into account the needs of the residents of each district. The creation of such local centers will eliminate the need to purchase goods and services far from home, and will also launch the development of adjacent territories.
We present all eight projects.
Station "Okruzhnaya"
Maria Granovskaya
The author proposes to occupy the territory of an inactive plant near the Okruzhnaya station with residential buildings. Moreover, one of the quarters will be creative - there will be an exhibition complex, a lecture hall, a coworking space, children's studios, art workshops and art residences where it will be possible to rent housing. Such a center could not only provide interesting leisure for local residents, but also be included in the list of well-known Moscow art clusters such as Winzavod, Flacon and Artplay.
Station "Vladykino"
Nadezhda Matveeva
The starting point for the development of the Vladykino district should be an educational and business center. It is proposed to place it between the parks "Otradnoe" and "Botanichesky Sad". The building itself can also be green thanks to passages with winter gardens.
Station "Falcon Mountain"
Artem Terteryan
To solve the problems of the territory and provide residents with the necessary infrastructure, according to the author, the creation of a multifunctional residential complex will allow. The project should unite the residential part of the district with Izmailovsky Park with pedestrian bridges.
Station "Baltic"
Asel Ravilova
The multilevel multifunctional complex in the vicinity of the Baltiyskaya station, designed by the author, has a family orientation. The lower level will house workshops, theaters, studios, dance halls. The next one is educational spaces. The upper level will be occupied by housing. The project also provides for a large park for residents of the entire area and private courtyards for the residents of the complex.
Station "Upper boilers"
Anastasia Boldyreva
The central object of this project is the embankment on the territory of the industrial zone. To provide local residents with access there, the author hides the roads along the river in a tunnel. The Verkhniye Kotly station itself is proposed to be moved to the bridge, from where a beautiful view will open to passengers.
Station "Shelepikha"
Nikita Dyakonov
A special feature of the project is the creation of a pedestrian route to the embankment of the Moskva River along a bridge soaring over highways. The route is equipped with cafes and shops. The author also envisaged residential, office and hotel buildings in the project.
Station "Horoshevo"
Lydia Zaritskaya
The project is designed primarily for creative youth, since several student dormitories are located nearby. An abandoned site near the river takes on new life in this concept. It offers the construction of a market, residential buildings and workshops.
Station "Novokhokhlovskaya"
Tatiana Shveikovskaya
The author designs a chain of neighborhoods adjacent to the Novokhokhlovskaya station and the ring railway. This will connect the existing housing with transport arteries and saturate the area with the missing infrastructure. A gallery of contemporary art and offices are planned in the central quarter, a complex of apartments and a cinema center are planned to be located nearby. A park will adjoin the residential area.
