ASP-Technology company - one of the leaders in the production of wall and ceiling structures, raised floors and facade systems on the Russian market. In 2012, the company introduced to the market a new trademark PERFATENTM, which is successfully used in both external and internal architectural design of objects.

ASP-Technology supplied materials and components of its own production for the implementation of the spectacular interior of the new terminal of the Samara airport Kurumoch. The airport itself has been operating since 1961, and its building has long needed a radical reconstruction. Talks about modernization have been going on somewhere since 2007, in the early 2010s the decision to build a new terminal was finally made and the terminal was built and launched in record time - in a year and a half instead of the minimum three. The architectural concept of the building (area 41,000 m2 with the possibility of expanding if necessary in the future) was developed by the English company Hintan Associates, the interiors were invented and implemented by Moscow Nefa Architects: Dmitry Ovcharov and Maria Yasko in collaboration with Margarita Kornienko and Maria Nasonova.

The new terminal - futuristic with a tangible note of nostalgia for the image of the future sixties, that is, retro-futuristic - immediately became one of the city's attractions. And although its imagery is holistic, the greatest impression is made by the interiors: it is with them that passengers first of all encounter, spending time waiting for a flight in a spectacular, emotionally meaningful space. It is the interior that first of all forms a retro-futuristic atmosphere, placing its involuntary spectators in the atmosphere of ideas about the cosmic future - the same as they were half a century ago: bright whiteness, rounding of holes - "TVs", the effect of a luminous enlarged raster - either pop art, or "Alien" - in any case, the aesthetics of the sixties dream is read quite definitely, seasoned, however, with the glamor of modernity, an inevitable sign of the quality of the finish.

Indeed, the concept of the terminal, according to Dmitry Ovcharov, "is built around the space status of the city, where the largest rocket plant has been located since Soviet times." The authors "wanted to convey the aesthetics of the sixties regarding the view of a man of that time on the country's space future," among other things, relying on the legacy of Oscar Niemeyer, the great master of architectural, almost sculptural plastics.

The implementation of a complex and ambitious project was carried out in a direct dialogue between architects and specialists of ASP-Technology, because, for example, a unique artistic perforation MIX on wall panels Basic CL demanded not only a technological, but also a creative approach.

Wall cladding system BASIC CL with perforation MIX and lighting created the "spaceship" effect expected by architects and designers. The connection of straight and broken panels formed planes and pyramids; the result is an expressive relief surface. The interiors look austere but futuristic at the same time.

According to Dmitry Ovcharov, a smooth line was chosen as the basis for organizing the interior space. It begins on the ground floor of the entrance group and turns into a spiral of a ramp, forming the compositional center of the atrium. Continuing its movement, the line imperceptibly transforms into a three-dimensional structure on the second floor, acquires materiality, continuing its plastic dialogue and, finally, ends with a luminous volume of the second-level halls.

Smooth lines also prevail in the plastic of the walls. The coloristic solution (and ASP-Technology could offer almost any range) is based on calm tones diluted with color accents. The walls and ceilings of the premises are mostly white with gray-black splashes. Fragments painted in an active orange color are found only in deluxe lounges. Against this background, the color coding of the navigation is clearly visible.

Ceiling dome with an area of 12,000 m2designed in the form of three truncated cylinders intersecting with each other, repeats the geometry of the roof, creating a special atmosphere and giving this amazing building sophistication. Suspended metal ceiling with an area of 27,000 m2 (acoustic panels HOOK-ON system H-100 filled with sound absorbing mats to reduce noise and vibration) was delivered and installed in a record 45 days. When installing suspended ceilings, we used certified productscorresponding European quality standardsDIN EN 13964 (Suspended ceilings. Requirements and test methods) … More than 350 people took part in the finishing works at the same time.

The walls and roof of the terminal naturally flow into each other, giving the viewer an impression of lightness and plasticity. Thanks to luminous displays and an abundance of light structures, visitors are immersed in the atmosphere of "Star Wars".

The center of the building is marked by the connection of vertical communications: a staircase, an escalator and an elevator are brought together here. The block is crowned with the likeness of a flying saucer, emphasizing the cross-cutting theme of the complex. In the atrium, passengers are greeted by a 100-meter high-resolution plasma screen, where, while waiting for a flight, you can watch the space saga or a couple of commercials of popular tourist destinations.

In the portfolio of "ASP-Technology" - an impressive list of difficult-to-implement projects using a wide range of services - from design development and calculations to installation and turnkey delivery of facilities. In some cases, the refinement and implementation of technologies continues right at the construction site. For example, to increase the strength and rigidity of the interior elements of the new terminal at Kurumoch Airport, a special alloy was selected and the optimal material thickness was determined.

The company's corporate strategy is to set itself complex problems and solve them in non-standard ways. This is how any, even the most daring, designers' ideas are embodied. In addition, for the customer, the timing, quality of materials and workmanship, as well as the ability to resolve issues as they become available, as they say, “off the paper” - in the final version, play a decisive role in choosing a partner.

ASP-Technology company is proud of the results of close collaboration with Nefa Architects. According to the chief architect of the project, Dmitry Ovcharov, the possibility of constructing complex high ceilings made it possible to concentrate a large amount of light inside the terminal premises. Filled with air and light, the atrium and the waiting areas on the third level illuminated through skylights, the lounges of superior comfort have formed "an expressive, architecturally holistic and comfortable space for a person."

Now the company is working on the implementation of the reconstruction of another large international airport - Strigino (Nizhny Novgorod). ASP-Technology won the tender among many well-known European manufacturers and suppliers of building and finishing materials for this airport, where, according to the architect's plan, the PERFATEN trademark will be usedTM.

Samara air terminal Kurimoch has every chance to grow to the scale of an aerotropolis. The renewed terminal is capable of handling at least 3.5 million air passengers per year.

The air port development program provides for further infrastructure expansion. A hotel with 150 rooms, restaurants, shops, parking lots and conference halls will be built in Kurumoch. It is planned to organize a high-speed rail link between Samara, the airport and Togliatti.
