First projects using Hpl-panels FunderMax for facade cladding appeared in Russia in the 1990s. The material, which was then called Max-panels, was most actively used for the construction of large facilities in Siberia: for example, the Ob hotel in Nizhnevartovsk, the buildings of the Samotrolneftegaz enterprises in Langepas and Belozerneft in Khanty were faced with Max-panels. -Mansiysk. Everywhere used finishing material has established itself as reliable, durable, easy-to-use and frost-resistant - which is especially indicative in the harsh climatic conditions of Siberia.

In Moscow, the first building using MAX-panels was built in 2000. The Kapitoliy shopping center appeared at the intersection of the Leningradskoye Highway and the Moscow Ring Road. The mixed-size panels in a neutral light shade fit well with the restrained architecture of the building, made up of simple geometric volumes. Even then it became clear that a material that was quite new for Russia would quickly find widespread use. Practical and economical panels began to be used for finishing the facades of large shopping and entertainment centers, office buildings, multifunctional and residential complexes.

The high performance and technical characteristics helped to quickly conquer the market for the material FunderMax. FunderMax Exterior Panels - a unique product with patented UV protection technology. The coating on the basis of polyurethane acrylic does not allow the surface of the panels to fade and wash out, due to which the bright color and texture remains unchanged for many years. In addition, the technology of double hardening of the structure of the panels protects them from various manifestations of vandalism - for example, the application of graffiti, which is especially important for the first floors of commercial and residential buildings. It is also important to note that the material has a K-0 fire certificate. This allows the panels to be used for cladding high-rise buildings.

Since 2013 company "Decotech Engineering" became the general partner of the Austrian plant FunderMax Gmbh. Today the manufacturer offers the widest range of products. The line includes collections of wood, fantasy and monochromatic decors. Possibility of digital printing is provided. All this opens up great opportunities for the architect, allowing him to realize the most daring creative ideas.

A good example is the use of Hpl panels - this is an imitation of the surface of natural wood. According to the accepted fire safety standards, wood cannot be used on the facades of public buildings. In such a situation, FunderMax is a good alternative. One of the most striking projects with the use of FunderMax Exterior panels with wood-like decor is the residential complex “Olympic village Novogorsk. Resort", developed by the Bureau "Architecturium". The head of the bureau, Vladimir Bindeman, used four types of decor of different shades for finishing the facades. The panels harmoniously arranged in color and shape have formed voluminous and lively facades, outwardly indistinguishable from wooden ones. The creation of a vivid artistic image also turned out to be very rational: the architect managed to optimize the cutting of the material in order to use scraps from cladding panels for air conditioner niches and small architectural forms. FunderMax Exterior panels have also been used in window frames.

V-House projectdesigned by the architectural studio "Sergey Kisilev and Partners" also demonstrates the high aesthetic potential of the material. The chief architect of the project, Andrey Nikoforov, created a facade with a 3D effect using only two panel colors - dark and light. The western and eastern facades of the complex have turned into a giant chess field, where the cells are arranged in different planes. From the southern and northern sides, the facades look no less ingenious: vertical and horizontal lines, now recessed, now protruding forward, create a dynamic and volumetric pattern of the walls.

Perhaps the most original use of the material demonstrates office building in the center of Moscow, designed by Ivan Loginov from BURO 2 + 2, with the participation of Dmitry Gutorkin and Svetlana Fokina. The project is based on the architecture of old wooden Moscow, partially preserved in a noisy metropolis. So, just opposite the projected modern business center, a small old mansion has survived - the Kotov house, built in 1878. Its distinctive feature is the unique wooden platbands on the windows. This mansion served as the starting point and the main inspiration for the designers. On the facade of the office center, they reproduced five types of platbands from different cities at once: Kostroma, Omsk, Voronezh, Tomsk and Ryazan. True, taking Russian wooden architecture as a basis, they chose modern technical solutions and materials for their building. Warm wood planks on the facades imitate FunderMax panels.
