The Seine Banks Park is located in Poissy, near the Villa Savoy Le Corbusier. So far, it is only being created according to the project of landscape architects Agence TER, but in a few years its area will be 113 hectares. A series of structures are foreseen for it along the Seine river bed: three - functional (observation platform, visitor center and restaurant) and 10 decorative pavilions - "quirks".
AWP and HHF have chosen a modular solution for them, using a timber frame of a given size. In the project, they combined their impressions of barges, including residential ones, moored to the banks of the Seine in the park, and ordinary suburban houses with a gable roof, adjacent to the park "from land". The resulting structures combine ease of construction and low cost with an original and environmentally friendly solution.
