The technology of building buildings on a steel frame has long been successfully used abroad, where up to 60% of residential and commercial facilities are being erected in this way. In Russia, the number of such projects is growing every day, however, there is already an acute shortage of specialists capable of competently designing buildings using steel structures.

The program is designed for 72 academic hours and involves the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge - students will be able to master modern techniques for designing residential and commercial buildings using metal structures.

The program will cover the following topics:

-modern Russian regulatory framework and practice of designing facilities using metal structures;

- foreign experience in metal construction;

- structural diagrams of steel frames for multi-storey buildings;

-calculation of metal structures;

-connections of metal structures;

- fire protection and corrosion protection of metal structures;

-solutions of enclosing structures and floors for buildings with a metal frame;

- production and installation of metal structures.

The course will be taught by leading specialists from MGSU, TsNIISK named after Kucherenko, as well as foreign experts in the field of metal construction.

The cost of training is 20,000 rubles.

Classes will be held on weekdays, 3 times a week at MGSU (m. VDNKh).

Classes start in September 2015.
