Illustration: refugeechallenge.unhcrideas.org

Illustration: refugeechallenge.unhcrideas.org The competition aims to answer the question of how design can help cities and refugees adapt to each other. Today the issue of refugee adaptation is very acute in many European cities. On the one hand, forced emigrants are limited in their capabilities and cannot easily adapt to new circumstances; on the other hand, European cities were not ready to receive such a number of guests, and cannot provide all the conditions necessary for life in a timely manner. Anyone can present their ideas for solving this problem with the help of design. The participation of the refugees themselves is especially welcome, because they have the opportunity to look at the problem from the inside.
