Suspended ceilings of the KNAUF company are distinguished by a variety of technical and design solutions that allow satisfying a whole range of requirements in terms of interior, acoustics, lighting, ventilation, fire safety and operating conditions.
Knauf complete systems for ceilings
Knauf has developed a range of complete systems for suspended ceilings on a single-level or two-level metal frame. In such systems, the main elements are the sheet material itself, the Knauf ceiling profile PP 60/27 and the guide PN 28/27, as well as various suspensions. Depending on the specific technical requirements for the room, KNAUF gypsum board or KNAUF superlist gypsum fiber board, KNAUF-Akustika sound-absorbing perforated sheet, KNAUF-Fireboard non-combustible sheet, KNAUF-Fireboard X-ray protective board, KNAUF-AKNEPA® cement board X-ray protective board … Such a wide range of materials allows you to choose a ceiling option for residential, public, industrial premises with normal and wet conditions, as well as increased requirements for fire safety, sound insulation and acoustics.
Acoustic ceilings
To create a comfortable acoustic environment in rooms and in cases where it is necessary to get rid of the echo effect, it is worth paying attention to the ceiling solution using sound-absorbing perforated gypsum boards Knauf-Acoustics. With the help of such ceilings, you can solve the triune problem of acoustic efficiency, aesthetic design and adaptability to installation. Such ceiling slabs can be either removable on a T-profile or non-removable, painted or unpainted, with visible or hidden suspension system, various types of perforation and sizes from 300 mm to 2400 mm.
Non-combustible ceilings
In especially critical rooms, where ceilings must be made of materials of the fire hazard class KM0, it is necessary to use non-combustible Knauf-Fireboard slabs mounted on a steel frame suspended from the floor structure. Suspended ceilings using the innovative KNAUF-Fireboard material increase the fire resistance of floors, improve sound insulation, hide electrical wiring and other utilities, while also solving the problem of decorative finishing of premises.
Medical ceilings
Knauf's range of ceiling solutions has been expanded with DANOTILE demountable medical ceiling tiles manufactured at the Knauf Danoline plant in Denmark. DANOTILE are laminated gypsum boards with dimensions 600x600 and 600x1200 mm, reinforced with fiberglass. DANOTILE ceiling is ideal for rooms with high demands on cleanliness and hygiene. The robust ceiling can withstand cleaning with disinfectant solutions with a pH range of 2 to 13. DANOTILE ceilings are ISO 5 cleanroom certified in accordance with ISO 14644-1.
In medical offices with X-ray equipment, where it is necessary to provide protection against ionizing radiation, X-ray protective plates KNAUF-Safeboard are used in ceiling structures.
Moisture-resistant ceilings AQUAPANEL®Skylight
Today, designing ceilings that will not suffer from the damaging effects of moisture and moisture has become much easier than ever. Knauf continues to develop its line of cement boards, offering solutions for wet rooms and exteriors.
AQUAPANEL® Skylight Cement Board provides wide freedom of choice in design solutions for external and internal ceilings, thanks to a slab thickness of only 8 mm and a low weight of about 10.5 kg / m2.
Knauf ceiling solutions with AQUAPANEL® technology provide comprehensive protection for ceilings and areas exposed to weather and humidity.
AQUAPANEL® Skylight is used inside, when creating structures for suspended ceilings in rooms with wet and wet operation, in buildings for various purposes, both during reconstruction and in new construction, especially in areas around swimming pools, in steam saunas, in shower rooms, in sinks, as well as in unheated rooms.
Outside, ceiling structures are used in semi-open passages, galleries, soffits and balconies cladding, as well as in external ceiling structures up to 25 meters high.
Both indoors and outdoors, it is necessary to use a steel profile with additional corrosion protection.
