The event was attended by 160 participants, more than 40 architectural bureaus and creative workshops presented 105 projects at the exhibition, most of which at one time or another took part in architectural competitions. The exhibition demonstrates the great potential of worthy ideas born in the painstaking, detailed work of architects and designers involved in the competition stages at different times.
The relationship between the customer and the architect, architecture and the city, the importance of competitive practice, tools for creating a competitive environment and urban development of the metropolis - such topics were discussed by the participants and guests of the exhibition during the discussion "Post-Competitive Syndrome", which took place within the framework of the exposition.
The discussion was moderated by Elena Kosorenkova, head of the National Agency for Architecture and Urban Planning. Famous architects Boris Levyant, Vladimir Plotkin, Pavel Andreev, Alexey Vorontsov, Sergey Tkachenko, Mikhail Khazanov, Yuri Vissarionov, Daniil Lorenz, Vera Butko, Alexander Asadov, Alexander Vapchuk, Alexey Polyakov took an active part in the discussion process.
The legislative and executive authorities of the Russian Federation and Moscow were represented by Elena Chuguevskaya, Head of the Department of Territorial and Strategic Development of the Ministry of Economic Development, Svetlana Bachurina, Executive Secretary of the Expert Council for Urban Development under the State Duma Committee on Construction and Land Relations, and Evgenia Murinets, Head of the Moscow Archives Council.
The well-known professionals of the development community, represented by the general director of Kortros Stanislav Kiselev, the general director of Ferro-Stroy Grigory Vaulin, the director of design at the Rose Group Sergey Kryuchkov, the development director of KR Properties, Alexander Poduskov, and general director of KR Properties, Alexander Poduskov, actively supported the discussion. Steel Construction Development Association. The overall result of the opinions expressed was the comprehensive support of the competitive process on the territory of Old and New Moscow.
During the inspection of the exposition, the guests had the opportunity to vote for any architectural project they liked. The following participants became winners in the Audience Award nomination:
- 1st place - LLC ARCH-SLON for the project of an individual residential building (special prize from Miele companies)
- 2nd place - LLC TM Lozinsky and Partners for the project "Central office of Sukhoi Corporation, Irkutsk"
- 3rd place - JSC "MOSPROEKT" for the project of the parliamentary center
- 4th place - LLC "Method" for the project of reconstruction of the metro station "Pervomayskaya".
The exhibition was held with the support of general partners - Kortros, Creative-Mebel, Ferro-Stroy, Smart Logistic Group, as well as official partners RIM, Eternit (Equitone), Schöck, Roto Frank and Delta T Group. The next exhibition "Architectural Potential" will be held in Moscow in early December 2016.
