The National Agency for Architecture and Urban Planning (ANO), with the support of the Sochi City Administration, the Sochi City Planning Council, the Union of Russian Cities and the Sochi City Organization of the SA of Russia, held the fifth architectural and urban planning conference “Architectural Bridge: Sochi-Moscow. Profitable houses and apartments. Sochi is a pilot city”.
The conference is intended to initiate a constructive dialogue between the government and the developer community regarding the development of the rental housing market, to resolve the issue of financing the construction of apartment buildings and apartments, to ensure appropriate measures for the development of the institution of housing rental (commercial and social use) and the operation of apartments.
Currently, apartment buildings have the opportunity to become an alternative to hotels and sanatoriums, because many tourists prefer to settle in the private sector and refuse the services provided by city hotels. The creation of tenement houses in the resort city of Sochi is a question for the next few years, a question of organizing a new article for replenishing the city budget.
The issue of increasing the mobility of the population in retrospect of the overall modernization of the country is also quite serious. It is necessary to create new points of growth and a promising strategic plan for project development.
These and other aspects of this topic, as well as issues of prospective construction, development of transport and social infrastructure, were discussed at the conference by leading Russian architects and designers, representatives of executive authorities, the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation and the developer community.
